After CRC spinners put the brakes on ECC scoring, Adarsh and Pradeep stitched together a brilliant 100+ run partnership. IN reply, CRC lost Siva early and some tidy bowling by both opening bowlers for ECC ensured that the required run rate kept climbing after each over. Right after the break, Ganesh (CRC) displayed his batting prowess with some brilliant hits all over the field. A quick run out, and a hat trick from Srini (ECC) helped ECC seal the game. Notable performance on the field for ECC was from Srini who took 4 blinding catches and a hat trick in his bowling.

With Tariq holding anchor at one end and aided by some big hitting by Anand,Saket and Shiva Iowa Bulls posted a par score of 205 off 30 overs. To chase the total down Elite C.C needed a brisk start at the top of the innings. James and Anand got one wicket each to peg them back. With Tariq and Saket bowling well in tandem the pressure of the total started mounting up and it started showing with Elite losing wickets in their quest to step up the run rate. In the end they were all out for 100. Saket was declared the MOM for his quickfire 32 and 4 wickets.
